Glenn Miller
Glenn Miller brings over 30 years of commodity trading experience and 40 years in risk management and economic analysis. A University of Illinois graduate in Resource Economics, he began as an independent floor trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, later working at the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Board Options Exchange.
Since founding South Shore Trading, Glenn has grown the business into a trusted leader in energy risk management, helping clients navigate complex markets with integrity, expertise, and a commitment to results. His career also includes founding multiple businesses, success in real estate investment and development, and decades of community service through nonprofit board work.

Ruth Rotenberg
Ruth Rotenberg, CFO of South Shore since 2010, brings over 15 years of financial leadership and cross-functional executive experience to the firm. Born and raised in Toronto, Ruth holds a B.A. in Merchandising and Design from Ryerson University and Florida International University.
Before joining South Shore, Ruth owned and operated Endless Possibilities, a design company specializing in functional art, with clients including Nordstrom and other high-end retailers. Her background in entrepreneurship, creativity, and strategic thinking continues to shape her approach to financial management, operational planning, and aligning fiscal strategies with corporate goals.
In addition to her role at South Shore, Ruth serves as Chairman and CFO of the Tanielle Miller Foundation and has held numerous leadership positions on community and school boards. Known for her determination, organizational skills, and client-focused mindset, she remains actively engaged in philanthropic and community initiatives.

Kolya Miller

Kolya Miller
Kolya Miller serves as Vice President of Business Development at South Shore, bringing a strong background in venture capital, strategic partnerships, and global market expansion. He began his career at a private family office before co‑founding TYH Capital, where, as Managing Partner, he identified high‑impact investment opportunities, established the firm’s Asia and Southeast Asia divisions, and managed significant pools of capital.
Kolya has led investments in cutting‑edge sectors including sustainable energy, artificial intelligence, smart city solutions, healthcare infrastructure, and digital systems etc. In addition to his investment work, he has served on the boards of multiple venture‑backed companies, providing strategic guidance and operational oversight to support scale and innovation.
Deeply committed to community engagement, Kolya also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. He holds a degree in Finance and Management from Yeshiva University and is known for his ability to build strong partnerships, support world-class teams, and drive business growth in competitive, emerging markets.

Nerya Miller
Nerya Miller serves as Vice President of Operations at South Shore Trading, where he focuses on sustainable energy solutions, operational excellence, and strategic growth. A graduate of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, Nerya earned his degree in Business Analytics and Finance Summa Cum Laude, was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar, and held multiple leadership positions on campus.
Passionate about mentorship and community impact, Nerya founded the TAG (Technology Awareness Group) office at Yeshiva University, held leadership roles with NCSY, and was selected for the prestigious Shevet Glaubach Fellowship to mentor emerging leaders. His entrepreneurial career includes co‑founding multiple businesses, notably a PPE company launched with his family during the COVID‑19 pandemic to address urgent market needs, as well as ventures like Huntington.
Known as a sought‑after leader with a hands‑on approach, Nerya also contributes his time to several nonprofit and community initiatives.
